Performs technical and administrative accounting work in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the Company.

May supervise administrative or accounting technicians or other part-time or temporary staff as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and records data for accounts and programs.
Prepares labor distributions.
Prepares periodic reports. Assists in the preparation of the annual and other State or Federal reports.
Makes journal entries to balance and close monthly books in general ledger, revenue and expense accounts; reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
Develops financial studies and plans. Forecasts, estimates, and monitors the financial condition of the Company to assure the fiscal well being of the Company.
Maintains the fixed asset accounts of the Company.
Prepares financial reports on revenues and expenses; reconciles bank statements.
Performs periodic financial studies and analyses.
Assists the Accounting Supervisor in the operation and maintenance of the Company's central financial computer system.
